Why Nilam
What Sets Our Approach Apart
Our sessions are built around balanced information, not persuasion. You leave with a clearer picture, not a sales pitch.

Sessions keep group sizes manageable so questions are heard and discussions stay relevant to each participant.
Plain-Language Materials
Worksheets and glossaries are written in straightforward English, avoiding jargon that obscures rather than explains.

From a single half-day to an eleven-week course — you choose the level of depth that fits your schedule and needs.
Central KL Location
Conveniently located in Menara Standard Chartered on Jalan Sultan Ismail, well-served by public transport.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly do your sessions cover?
Our sessions cover general credit concepts — how interest is calculated, what repayment schedules look like, how to read common loan documentation, and how to weigh borrowing options side by side. All content is general educational information only, not regulated financial advice.
Is this financial advice, or financial education?
Everything Nilam offers is general educational information for the public. We do not provide regulated financial advice, recommend specific products, or make statements about expected returns. Our aim is to help you ask better questions when you consult a licensed adviser or lender.
Which programme is right for me?
If you want a quick, clear overview before making a borrowing decision, the Credit Essentials Session (RM 510, half-day) may be a good fit. If you prefer a more thorough understanding with time to reflect, the Responsible Borrowing Programme (five weeks) or Credit Literacy Foundations Course (eleven weeks) offer greater depth. You are welcome to call us and talk it through.
